Customers Are Talking About Sheet Music Magazine
“I have been a suscriber for many years. I love the special arrangements, especially Noreen Lienhard’s. She makes me sound great!… thanks for the wonderful books you offer.”
—Jane Koehler, Florida
“I like the simple arrangement aspect of these books… easy to study and apply to other songs, and transposing into all the keys. Much as the Noreen Lienhard books are for ‘the Bill Evansy kinds of sounds.’”
—J.M.Lynch, Canyon Country, CA.
“I love the music I have received previously. So glad and happy to be able to play the piano with the CDs. Such fun since I can’t play with a real orchestra.”
—L. Baldoni, Albuquerque, NM

I was going through some of my old music and ran across the sheet music magazines, that my grandmother had gotten for me as a child I began to search to see if you still was in business. Hopefully I will began to subscribe for issues.
Thanks for still being there.

I have been a long time subscriber and have enjoyed rediscovering oldies and classics. But, lately… I find that the songs are too old. I’m wavering about renewing my subscription. Is there any way I can find out what popular songs are planned for this next year?
Re: Joseph Smith’s article “A White Donkey on the Black Keys.” Your article and reprint of Ibert’s Little White Donkey reminded me of the first (and only) time I heard Mstislav Rostropovich at Carnegie Hall some time in the late seventies when he had only been in the US for a short while. After receiving s standing ovation for a concert of Bach, Dvorak, and other classics, he silenced the hall and matter-of-factly announced his encore: “The Leetle White Donkee.”
We are essentially a magazine of musical nostalgia. Over the years our subscribers have shown us their approval of this editorial focus by renewing their subscriptions at the rate of up to 95%. From time to time we feature newer songs, but it is not easy to find newer songs that are pianistic and enjoyable to play. And then, we can’t always get the publisher permissions when we do like a song.

It’s the arrangements! They are great because of the rich and inventive harmonies and more importantly nearly all were in keys and at a level I could play (with some practice). Boy, I hope to see future issues with song arrangements similar in to these.
Thanks to the arrangers and to Sheet Music Magazine for this delight.
